The program of the Second round must comprise three pieces: a romantic work, a modern work and a virtuosistic piece.
1) The candidate must play one romantic piece chosen from the following:

3) The candidate must play a virtuosic piece chosen from the following:

Niccolò Paganini: Introduction and variations for solo violin on the theme “Nel cor più non mi sento”

Karol Szymanowski: Myths op. 30
› SEMIFINAL ROUND (Minimum 50 min. – Maximum 55 min.)

A recital program of the candidate’s choice.
N.B. Contestants cannot present the same composition more than once during the competition. In all rounds, compositions with more than one tempo must be performed entirely.
› FINAL ROUND with orchestra
The candidate must perform a Concerto for violin and orchestra chosen from

Johannes Brahms: Concerto in D major op. 77
Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky: Concerto in D major op. 35
Jean Sibelius: Concerto in D minor op. 47

The submitted program may be modified on the page of the online application form no later than 10 September 2024.
The Competition Secretariat, if necessary, may ask candidates for a copy of the score of some of the proposed music.
