PIANO 2023: Competitor

 

Born in 2009, Junseong Ko began playing piano at the age of 8. In 2018, he won first prize and special jury prize at the Korea-Liszt Competition, grand prize at the Music Journal Competition, Yewon School Piano Excellence Award, Hankook Ilbo Music Competition, Korea Chopin Competition, Dong-A Junior Music Competition, and Seoul Orchestra Competition. He is also strengthening his performing skills through various stages such as Young Musician Festival, Kumho Prodigy Concert, Seoul Orchestra, The House Concert Recital, and the final performance of the July Festival. Junseong Ko is currently attending the second year of Yewon School and studying with professors Se-Ran Oh and Sung-Moon Jung.
