PIANO 2023: Competitor
Chanyeon graduated at the Sunhwa Arts Middle High School and got his bachelor at the Seoul National University.
He won the 1st Prize at the Joongang Music Competition in 2022 and performed at the Seoul National University “SNU Piano Duo Concert” in 2021. Chanyeon won the 1st prize at the Kumho Young-Artist Recital Korea Liszt Competition. He previously won the 2nd Prize at the Chopin Competition in Korea in 2020. He also participated and won the Prize at the ‘Piano Campus’ Concours for the project jejouedupiano.com, a website where some of the best French pianists teach online to students of all levels. He received the 2nd Prize at the Ehwa Kyunghyang Music Competition in 2018 and, the same year, he was awarded the 3rd Prize at the Chopin Competition in Korea.
