Simonetta Tancredi is brilliantly graduated in piano at the Conservatory of S. Pietro a Majella in Naples, the school of Vincenzo Vitale, and in harpsichord at the Conservatory of S. Cecilia in Rome, where he also studied composition and choral conducting. Just started playing the piano has won numerous Italian piano competitions and was a finalist at the international competition "A. Cortot". She continued her studies in chamber music with Maestro Riccardo Brengola  at the Accademia Chigiana and with Maestro Maurice Gendron at the "Mozarteum" in Salzburg. She also graduated in chamber music at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome with Maestro Felix Ajo. She has been repeatedly invited by the Teatro San Carlo in the season of chamber music and has given concerts in Frankfurt, Belgrade, Oita, Kualalumpur, Stanford, Lugano, Budapest. He won the following competitions for teaching in Italian conservatories: Chamber Music and piano accompanist in the opera singing classes for the National Academy of Dance and Dramatic Arts in Rome. He is currently Professor of Chamber Music at the Music Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto.
She collaborates with numerous international artists such as Franco Gulli, Francesco Manara and Francesco de Angelis (both violin of Teatro alla Scala), Rodolfo Bonucci, Andrea Tacchi, Fonè Quartet, String Quartet at La Scala, I Virtuosi del Teatro alla Scala, Simone Alaimo, Angela Gheorghiu, Jose Carreras, Andrea Bocelli and also with the following institutions: Arena di Verona, Ravenna Festival, Arturo Toscanini Foundation of Parma, Lyric Theatre of Treviso. She has performed with leading conductors including Riccardo Muti, Lorin Mazeel, Riccardo Chailly, Kazushi Ono, Vasily Petrenko, Roberto Abbado, Nello Santi, Vladimir Jurowski, Mstislav Rostropovich. She was invited as piano accompanist at the Giuseppe Di Stefano Competition in Trapani and at the Voci Verdiane Competition held every year at the Theatre in Busseto. She collaborated in a production of a CD of Neapolitan songs with the tenor Placido Domingo on behalf of Deutsche Grammophon.
