The town of VERCELLI is located in the North-West part of Italy, in the plane between Turin and Milan.
Its geographical position between those two big cities makes it in every way reachable both by train or by car. Long distances are easily covered, as Vercelli is very near to the most important airports of northern area of Italy, Malpensa airport, Linate airport and Caselle airport. If you arrive by train to Vercelli, just outside the Station you can find a taxi. You can also walk until the Theatre (secretary's Office) that lasts around 5 minutes from the Train Station.

From Milan. Highway A4, take the A26 direction, exit of Vercelli Est.
From Turin. Highway A4, take the direction Santhià (A26 Alessandria), exit of Vercelli Ovest.

TRAIN: Vercelli’s railway station is very well connected both with Milan and Turin. The stretch from Milan lasts 50 minutes; the same from Turin.
From Milan (direction Turin) and from Turin (direction Milan): a train each hour that stops in Vercelli. The price of the train ticket is around Euro 5 (One-way fare).
Vercelli railway station is less than 500 meters from the Theatre (taxis available just outside of the station).
There are many trains leaving from Milan, approximately one every hour (but in the busiest parts of the working days, trains leave even oftener) and the same happens from Turin.

From Turin Airport "Caselle" (85 kms from the airport to Vercelli).
From Milan Airport “Malpensa” (80 Kms from the airport to Vercelli)
From Milan Airport "Linate" (100 kms from the airport to Vercelli).

MILAN is served by two airports: Malpensa and Linate. Malpensa airport has two passenger terminals called: Terminal 1 (Malpensa West Terminal), and Terminal 2 (Malpensa North Terminal).
Please, check beforehand at which airport (Linate or Malpensa), and terminal your flight is landing.

Malpensa Terminal 1 is connected to the Central Railway Station in Milan by a bus service Malpensa Shuttle run by the operator Air Pullmann.
The buses leave from bus stop n. 3.
Malpensa Terminal 2 is also connected to Milan Central Railway Station by Malpensa Shuttle Bus Service coming from Terminal 1. The trip lasts around one hour.
Timetables may be affected by changes, please check with the company running the service. (AIR PULLMAN).
Taxis are also available, just outside the arrivals’ floor. Notice that, as the distance is quite long, the cost for the trip to the station is expensive.
Of course, from Milan Central Railway Station you may travel to all destinations on the national rail system.
Departures from Linate to Milan Central Railway Station leave (from the arrival platform) every 30 minutes every day, from 6.05 am to 23.45 pm. The tickets cost around 2 Euro and can be bought at STAM (the running company) or on the bus. The stretch last 20 minutes. You can also take a taxi. The fare is around 25 Euro.
